Shipping policy

SHIPPING COSTS
Customer will be presented with shipping costs throughout the checkout process before finalizing your order. Shipping rates are generated in real-time based on several factors including total weight of your order as well as packaging dimensions in which your order will be shipped to you.

SHIPPING DAMAGES & SHIPPING  PROTECTION
We are not liable for damage caused during the shipping process. If an item arrives damaged and it is not due to a manufacturer defect, the customer must wait for American Decor to open a case and, if required, file a claim with the shipping courier before the issue can be resolved. This process may take several days and varies by courier. If you believe your item was damaged in transit, do not sign for or accept the package. Instead, notify the delivery person, refuse the delivery, and contact us.

For faster and easier resolution, we recommend selecting Route Shipping Protection at checkout. Route protects your order against loss, theft, or damage during transit. If Route protection is purchased, all shipping claims and disputes must be filed directly through Route’s customer portal. Once coverage is applied, American Decor is not responsible for handling shipping-related claims. If Route protection is not purchased, the customer assumes all responsibility for loss, theft, or damage after the order has shipped.

LOCAL PICKUP
We can arrange for a local pickup option if you contact us prior to placing your order. If no prior arrangement for local pickup is made before finalizing and placing an order, regular shipping terms will apply to your order.

SHIPPING DELAYS AND UPDATES
American Decor essentially has the same visibility into a package route, after it leaves our shop, as the customer does. We strongly recommend contacting the respective shipping courier first to inquire about the status of your package to see if they can assist you first.
